Sustainable Landscape Management® (SLM®)

Sustainable Landscape Management®

ALCA has developed a certification program based on Sustainable Landscape Management® (SLM®) practices.

SLM® practices strive to preserve limited and valuable natural resources such as water, soil, and fuel; to reduce waste generation and pollution; and to support the natural growth habit and longevity of plant material; all while creating more beautiful, healthy, and efficiently maintained landscapes.

SLM® certification brings added value to the landscape contractor which in turn brings to current and prospective clients yet another reason to hire ALCA members and to truly "Contract with Landscape Experts".
