• Tree selection: right tree - right place
• How to inspect nursery stock for root and structure
• Steps to planting a tree: Blue Stake, soil percolation testing, planting hole, amendments, tree well, irrigation, and surface mulch
• Participate in hands-on tree planting demonstration
• Demonstrate how to stake a tree: anchor protection, support, tie materials, and alternative staking methods

CANCELATION POLICY

Substitutions are available at any time or you may reschedule to attend any of the same topic workshops within that month if there is availability.  To qualify for a refund, notification must be received by ALCA no later than 3 days prior to the workshop.  After 3 days prior, no refund will be given.
