Event Details

This class is pre-recorded. It is not live and will not be facilitated. Registration closes at 12pm the Friday before class. CEUs are only available for in-person and live Zoom classes.

A link to the recording and student materials will be emailed to you. You will have access to the recording for one week and may view it during the scheduled class time or at your leisure. The exam will be available online for 13 days.

Plant Problems

· Differentiate between plant stress disorders and biological diseases

· Discuss the importance of proper plant care in an urban environment

· Identify common weeds and recommend appropriate control methods

· Recognize common insects and determine what controls are needed

· Determine if a pathogen is present and if it is treatable

· Identify plant nutrient deficiencies and how to treat accordingly

What is the ACLP certification process?
Anyone may attend the workshops to increase their knowledge and skills. To become ACLP certified, each student must attend all 10 workshops and pass the exams. An additional $25 will be required if you do not take the exam within the two week deadline after the workshop. Students will be declared an AZ Certified Landscape Professional when he/she receives a minimum score of 70% on each of the exams. Students will have two additional opportunities to pass the exam at $25 per retake.
