Class Objectives:
Learn how a plant grows and it's anatomy - roots, truck, stems, etc.
Learn the common terminology associated with plant anatomy and pruning concepts.
Learn the responses of plants to shearing or pruning.
Learn the various tools for pruning, the proper and safe use of the tools, and look at the importance of proper maintaining tools and demonstrate proper pruning techniques.
Learn the concept of design intent - what was the intent of the architect or designer.
Discuss the use of wound dressings and precautions of their use.
