Must have minimum of three years experience as foreman or crew leader. Position available is for a 'working foreman'. Must have experience with installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and drip irrigation systems. Must be able to read and interpret irrigations plans. Must have experience in planting and maintaining trees, plants and shrubs including all desert varieties. Must be able to read and interpret landscape plans. Must have experience with planting and maintaining different turf varieties as well as having experience with overseeding. Must be able to read and interpret grading and drainage plans. Must be able to keep accurate field notes and weekly time sheets. Golf course construction or maintenance a plus! Bilingual a plus. Some travel within Arizona will be necessary. Must have proper work documentation as required by local, state and federal governments. Compensation DOE.

Description:
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:
Provide field technical support services for central control systems used in the landscape/irrigation industry. Responsibilities include controller repair; central control certified start-ups; troubleshooting of hardware components; service agreement maintenance contracts; including software management of multiple DOS & Windows based applications. Ensure department sales and margin goals are achieved by maximizing billable time and profit dollars.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3-5 years technical field experience in installation, operation, and troubleshooting Commercial/Golf Central Control Systems. Rain Bird Certification in Maxi or Maxicom software programming is preferred. Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office and customer service skills. Experience with Auto-Cad desirable. Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management and task scheduling abilities. Must hold valid drivers license and be have satisfactory driving record according to Horizon's automobile insurance carrier.
